AIRCRAFT

Puerto Rico Jet Charter arranges private flights across the full range of charter categories that operate in and out of the island. Most of our trips run through Luis Muñoz Marín International (SJU, TJSJ). Its 10,400-foot main runway removes the runway-length caveats that constrain smaller Caribbean fields, so light jets, midsize, super-midsize, heavy, ultra-long-range, and VIP airliners all fly directly into SJU. Isla Grande (SIG, TJIG) handles light and midsize jets closer to Old San Juan and Condado. For west-coast trips into Aguadilla or Rincón, Rafael Hernández Airport (BQN, TJBQ) offers an 11,702-foot ex-military runway that accepts any aircraft category by length. The categories below are the working menu. We source the right aircraft for your route, your timing, and the conditions on the day.

Passenger Air Charter

The core of what we do in and out of Puerto Rico. Families heading down for a winter escape, executives between meetings at pharma and life-sciences facilities on the island, Act 60 decree holders splitting time between the island and mainland business hubs, sports teams, and group charter travel. We work with FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs). We match the trip to the right category: turboprop, light jet, midsize, super-midsize, heavy, ultra-long-range, or VIP airliner. The trip drives the aircraft, and the aircraft drives the airport: SJU, SIG, BQN, or a regional field, depending on the day.

Air Cargo Charter

For time-critical or specialized freight that can’t wait for a commercial freight forwarder: pharmaceutical shipments moving between Puerto Rico manufacturing plants and mainland distribution, manufacturing parts holding up an assembly line, lab specimens packed with dry ice or hazmat, oversized or heavy equipment, and large live animals. Cargo flights are full-aircraft charters, not shared freight, so the aircraft, route, and timing are dedicated to your shipment. We’ll set clear expectations on cost and lead time up front, then move quickly once you give the go-ahead.

Medical / Air Ambulance

Non-emergency transfers between facilities, from home to a facility, or from a facility back home, with medical staff on board. We handle oxygen-dependent patients, wheelchair-assisted travel, hospice transport home to family, and dementia or Alzheimer’s care moves. We do not market emergency medevac, accident-response, or organ-transplant flights; that is a different lane. Send us the patient’s needs, and we’ll set realistic expectations on aircraft, crew, and timing before you commit.
