Puerto Rico Beechcraft King Air 260 Charter

The Beechcraft King Air 260 is the current-build Puerto Rico turboprop from San Juan (SJU) and Isla Grande (SIG), seating 6 to 9 with 1,720 nautical miles of range. It brings the newest avionics and cabin to the same Caribbean and Florida legs the 250 flies. The latest of the 200-series line.

Beechcraft introduced the King Air 260 in 2021 with an updated flight deck and digital pressurization, cruising near 310 knots at 35,000 feet. It is the most modern twin turboprop in regular charter service.

Why the Beechcraft King Air 260 Fits Puerto Rico

From Puerto Rico the King Air 260 fits clients who want current-generation systems on inter-island and short-haul legs: San Juan or Isla Grande out to Vieques, the eastern Caribbean, or south Florida. Newest cabin, same turboprop practicality.

When the mission matches a 250 but the client prefers the latest airframe, the 260 is the pick out of SJU and SIG.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates; reports may be provided on request.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
